Being from the small town that is Anaheim Hills, it is easy to run out of interesting activities to do while staying nearby. However, a recent discovery has created a new opportunity for entertainment. Pelanconi Park, which happens to be right by Canyon High School, has a cute group of inhabitants. Perhaps the secret is out, but for those who don’t know, the goats are here! The craze first started a few weeks ago, when Snapchat and Instagram were filled with pictures of these famous goats. It was time to finally see them for myself.

Upon arriving, the recognizable bleat of the animals could be heard. Going down a small path will lead visitors to the goats, which are behind a short electric fence. Judging on the goats' determined eating, their purpose seemed to be solely for consuming the vegetation. Never the less, the most exciting part of the experience was seeing the baby goats. They were easy to lure toward the fence and enjoyed the attention they were receiving. One of the goats was secluded with her three kids. This allowed for a more up-close and personal interaction with them, but be warned, the kids love to chew on hair!

All animal lovers who are in need of something to do should definitely check this spot out. It is fun, local, and free! It's a mystery just how long they’ll be around, so don’t "GOAT" to late and miss out on these adorable creatures!
