During the summer months, it is easy to get bored. Whether one is stuck at home, or just tired of doing the same things. Here are some ideas that are weather friendly, and not to mention affordable and fun.

A simple solution to cure boredom is to have a barbecue. Take advantage of the warm summer sun and blue sky while cooking delicious food with your friends or family. Some essential foods to barbecue include vegetable kabobs, steak, or hot dogs.

Another fun option is to make snow cones. Snow cones can be made by using blended ice and drizzling snow cone syrups on top. Target has many different flavors such as blue raspberry, green apple, and grape. This option is also very affordable too, each syrup only costs a few dollars.

A great way to beat boredom and stay in shape during the summer is to go swimming. This is a great form of exercise and it won't cause one to overheat in the warmer months. There are also different strokes that can target different muscles, so try them all!

Another idea is to go on a bike ride in the morning. Biking can be really peaceful, especially in a beautiful and natural location. Going in the morning is the best time to go to beat the heat, as well as a good way to be active.

Finally, how can one go wrong making s'mores with friends. Try some nontraditional ways to take your s'more to the next level. Some people replace the Hershey's chocolate with Reese's PB Cups, or some even add caramel. The possibilities are endless and of course, delicious.

The ideas listed above are only a few of the many endless things you can do during the summer. Summer only lasts a short time, so be spontaneous and try a new activity!
