Performance at the Yorba Linda Festival

Canyon High School’s Dance Company performed three dances at the Yorba Linda Festival, an event that took place at Yorba Linda High School on February 3rd at 7:00 pm. The dances performed were a hip hop style dance called Panda, a lyrical dance called Sorrow, and Hurt me, which was a contemporary styled dance.

Mariah Suarez expressed her thoughts on the Panda dance when she said "it's a new style for all of us, it's very upbeat and energetic. Mrs. Greene is challenging us with new stylistic choreography."

Mrs. Greene described the Yorba Linda Festival as "a bunch of schools that came together to showcase their dance programs and inspire each other." There were many amazing and talented schools at the event, and The Company did an awesome job performing.
