I have some heartbreaking news for many of you television fans. The beloved Teen Wolf, Pretty Little Liars, and The Vampire Diaries series are sadly coming to an end after many years. This fate was inevitable; we all knew it was going to happen one day, and that day is soon here. Brace yourselves and hang on tight to whatever is left of these shows.
The final 6th Season of Teen Wolf will premiere on November 15th. Each season of Teen Wolf has a relatively different storyline with new villains. According to TV Guide, in this upcoming season, a group called “The Wild Hunt” will try to remove Stiles from everyone’s memories, practically getting rid of his entire existence! What will we do without Stiles’ sarcastic humor that brightens up the show? Let’s hope Scott and his pack figure out a plan, as usual, and Save Our Stiles. In other news, Executive Producer, Jeff Davis, has hinted that Stiles and Lydia could finally get together. Stydia shippers, like myself, are ecstatic about this news, as we’ve been hopeful since Season 1.
Pretty Little Liars is already on its final 7th Season, with the second half of the season to air in April 2017. There are rumors that the last episode of Season 7 will be a two hour special! In this season, we’ll see how the liars deal with yet another person’s blood on their hands. We’re also expecting to see more of Toby next season, so we’ll see how Spencer and Toby play out, and if they finally get their happily ever after.
Lastly, The Vampire Diaries’ first episode of the final Season 8 has just recently aired on October 21st. We last left off with Damon and Enzo mysteriously missing after getting locked in the vault in the Armory. Just as Damon is about to leave the vault, he hears Elena’s voice and runs back in, getting trapped. At the end of the episode we finally get a glimpse of them; we see that they’re in a warehouse surrounded by hanging, dead bodies that we can only assume they killed. As Stefan later writes to Elena, he tells her that she can’t blame Damon for whatever evil has taken over him. In Season 8, we’ll see more of Damon and Enzo’s dark sides as Stefan and his friends try to save them. Additionally, there are rumors that Nina Dobrev, who plays Elena, will return for the Season 8 finale! Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
So it may be sad that all three of these glorious shows are coming to an end, but the last seasons sound so good, so be sure to tune into them! Jenna Albaroudi, an avid watcher of all of these shows says, “I feel like part of my life is over and a new part is ready to open up to new shows.” Unfortunately, all good things must come to end. Good luck to Jenna and all of you who watch these shows.
