Bring out your jerseys, and start buying game tickets for your favorite teams because football season is finally here! This year brings new opportunities for every team in the NFL, and hopefully gives them the shot at a chance to go to the Super Bowl. We’ve finally reached the quarter-mark or made it through 25% of the season and there is lots to be excited about and lots to be forgotten about.

To start off, the Minnesota Vikings are the only team that is still undefeated and leading their division with an 5-0 record. This is quite impressive for a team that lost their starting quarterback (Teddy Bridgewater) to a season ending ACL tear injury as well as their star running back Adrian Peterson to injury as well. However, with new quarterback Sam Bradford leading the way, the Vikings look like serious Super Bowl contenders this year.

On the other side of the spectrum, the Cleveland Browns, are sitting in last place at 0-5. In only 5 weeks the Browns have already used 6 different quarterbacks, Terelle Pryor, being the only one that hasn't been injured or inconsistent so far, doesn't even play quarterback. He’s a wide receiver, that's how desperate the Browns are becoming with their QB situation. It doesn't help anymore that they also lost their first round pick, WR Corey Coleman to a broken hand in week 2 of the season. The Browns should just kiss this season goodbye and start thinking about the future.

Some teams though are already in the future such as the Philadelphia Eagles who are starting their rookie QB, Carson Wentz. Carson has only thrown one interception and seven touchdowns in 4 games this year and has lead his team to a respectable 3-1 record so far. That is unbelievable coming from a rookie. Another rookie QB that has shocked the NFL this year, fourth round pick, Dak Prescott, has led the Dallas Cowboys to a 4-1 record. QB Tony Romo may be worried about losing his starting job as the head quarterback of the Cowboys since he is not set to return until week 9.

The current teams leading their divisions are the New England Patriots (4-1), Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1), Houston Texans (3-2), Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders tied at (4-1), Seattle Seahawks (3-1), Atlanta Falcons (4-1), Minnesota Vikings (5-0), and Dallas Cowboys (4-1). The season is far from over and there is still plenty of time for other teams to claim their divisions. We are in for a very fun and competitive football season this upcoming year.
