Who would win in a battle of the forces, the light or the dark, Obi-wan or Darth Vader? For these two titan users of the force, we will be ignoring the battle of Mustafar because Darth Vader still didn’t exist. Also we will be ignoring the time on the Death Star were Obi-Wan purposely got himself struck down by Darth Vader. For anyone who doesn’t know these two iconic Star Wars characters, go read the comics or watch the movies.

Although Anakin (aka Darth Vader) lost against Obi-Wan on the planet Mastafar, he later obtained an increase of power with the dark side. This power was given to him by the Emperor Palpatine. Siths become stronger based on the amount of hate they have within them. Obi-Wan also gained power because the older a Jedi becomes, the stronger the force is within them. But because of age Obi-Wan had become physically weaker compared to Darth Vader who isn't restrained by age because he is half robot. However, Obi-Wan fans can reason that because Vader is half robot, he is restrained physically and on his suit to survive. Vader lovers can argue that in the comic books, Vader’s suit was destroyed but he was able to sustain his life for nine hours by using the force.

I would say Darth Vader would win because he can deal with many threats at once. He can also take on fast, agile Jedi by utilizing the speed force which allows him to predict where his enemy is going to be. Unfortunately, Obi-Wan is old, so he can’t tap into the speed force. Who is stronger? This is still yet to be determined. No one can verify how strong the force is within Anakin now that he has changed into a Sith Lord. Even if it It can be argued, that Obi-Wan is stronger in the force, it is nonetheless a physical battle. Goodbye Jedi.
