Are you excited for Canyon High School's winter sports because the Girls Varsity Soccer team sure is! They would love for you to come out and support the 2016/17 season. Over the years the hiring and firing of different coaches of each season could not have been easy to gain any sort of progress in the league. However, they did progress into the CIF championships last winter.

Fortunately for the girls, they have Varsity Goalkeeper Hannah Liesik. This will be her second year on the Canyon High Girls Varsity Soccer team. She is no rookie and had an amazing season along with her team.

December is right around the corner. It would be amazing if everyone could forget about the upcoming long winter break and put the varsity girls first scrimmage in their calendars. December 1st is the game to attend as the team will play Orange Lutheran. This has always been a well played match-up and would be a lot of fun to attend.

The girls and their coaching staff have recently settled down and think this will be a strong season for them. However, there is not much they can do without an audience. Go to a game, meet new people, and explore other parts of the campus BUT most of all support your friends that play soccer. It is almost a fact, the bigger the crowd the better they play. These soccer teams love to please the audience.
