Attention Canyon High School students! Club Carnival is just around the corner. During lunch on September 30th, Canyon students get the opportunity to discover and join the copious amount of clubs this school has to offer. Students should attend this event in front of the gym to get the opportunity to be more involved in school activities.

Club Carnival is available for all classes: freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. One of Canyon’s Commissioners of Clubs, Megan Dias, stated that the students should go to Club Carnival “to see what all the clubs have to offer at Canyon High School, see what they have planned for the year, to get involved, and to see what each different club represents”. What have clubs done for our school one may ask? The Commissioner of Clubs claims that clubs provide a way for the “students to become more involved and see what they’re interested in”. A member of the Key Club board, Elizabeth Han, believes students should join Key Club because “We have many volunteering opportunities that freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors can attend; they’re also very fun volunteering opportunities, plus you get to meet new people.”

It seems to be very evident that at Club Carnival, nothing will be lost by going to this school event. One may learn something that they have never known before. All grades should attend the Carnival because it provides such a great result. The whole school comes together during Club Carnival, and board members of each club will represent each booth. Joining clubs can help with one’s career, therefore Club Carnival has many benefits. Cannot wait to see everyone there!
